Koko needs a new home!

Koko

Koko is a mature cat (neutered). He really likes attention, but isn't annoying. He likes to be with people and will go looking for them around the house. He curls up between your legs and sleeps until breakfast. He has a very reliable internal clock and knows when meal times are. I'm not a morning person, so sometimes get up, feed him, and go back to bed. He hasn't been as active the past year, but prior to that, I had a big yard so he spent the entire day outside. I had a 6' chain link fence he could easily scale, but he never left the yard. He always comes when I call him (much better than the dog did), unless he's stalking mice, which he loves to hunt. The ideal home for him would have a fenced yard he could roam. He has never destroyed any furniture. As long as he had a cardboard scratching pad, and a cat house with that think twine wound around it, he has no interest in scratching on the furniture. He has lived with a smaller dog (~ 30 lbs) and once getting to know each other, they got along just fine (sleep beside each other on the bed). Not sure what he would be like with other cats? He has never lived with small children and they seem to frighten him.

I would not recommend he go to a home with kids under 10. He doesn't always like to have his belly rubbed. Other than that, I've not had any behaviour issues with him. He is not declawed and uses his claws when he plays with toys. I would hope someone who knows cats would realize this. He loves to rub his head on my chin. If I let him do it long enough, he will nip (never hurt me though). I've heard this is common, but I've discouraged him to ensure he doesn't get used to biting and he rarely does it. He's very good with the litter box, howls only once in a while, and has the occaisional hair ball. No health problems I'm aware of. I feed him a mix of wet food (formula to promote urinary tract health) and dry food (calorie control). His shots are up to date. I would expect to send his scratchposts, toys, and litter boxes with him to his new home.

Kingsley needs a new home

Kingsley is a three year old cream colour cat with orange ears. He as bright blue eyes and is a medium hair. He has tons of personality and loves to play with people. He is a large cat so needs lots of room to get around in. He is loving and is always excited when we come home to see him. Unfortunately our place is much to small for him and we aren't home enough of the time to give him the love and attention he needs. I only have until the end of this weekend to give him a new start, he is a beautiful companion so anyone able to take him is getting an amazing friend. Please call Brooke at 374-3599 or 230-4593.
