Sometimes it's necessary to rehome a cat. While we wish we could take every unwanted cat and give it a home, but it's not always possible for Street Cat Rescue to do so. We offer courtesy posting and helpful hints. Please let us know when you successfully find your cat a new home, so we can take down the listing.

NOTE TO APPLICANTS FOR COURTESY LISTINGS: All listings will be maintained for 60 days. Applicants may request a further 60-day listing. Individuals last names and/or home addresses will not be lists for personal security reasons.
Thank you for helping find these cats a great home!

Poupette is a 5.5 years old tortoise shell. She is intelligent and friendly and she likes to speak with us when she needs something. She knows some tricks and understands her name and some commands in French. She likes to sleep in her transportation cage or on the couch near us. She was rescued from the streets near Montréal as a kitten and still has a cautious side in her behaviour. She doesn’t like children or dogs or anything that can startle her. She feels safe inside only. She has her claws but is used to have them trimmed. She has never damaged any furniture. Her shots are up to date. She comes with equipment and favourite toys.

This black cat is one of the most friendly and relax cat I have ever seen. He likes people and is not disturbed by many things. He is 5.5 years old and his name is Poulet (French for “Chicken”, long story). He likes to sleep on people’s laps for hours and would do well with gamers or people who likes to watch TV. He does all the cutest things like sleeping with his head on a pillow or wrapping himself in blankets before napping. He has his claws but likes to have them trimmed. He has never damaged any furniture. He happily comes when he sees us holding his comb. His shots are up to date. He comes with equipment and favourite toys. He was rescued from the streets with Poupette.

Cheerio: He is a larger 4 year old orange coloured cat, weighing approximately 20lbs. He likes to be the alpha cat yet is very cuddly and enjoys cuddling in laps or lying underneath the bed covers cuddled next to people. While a little standoffish with other cats he is extremely loving with people, he does not travel well. Cheerio also has taught himself how to open cupboards and enjoys lying on dish towels or in the sink. He is de-clawed and neutered and is up to date on all his shots.

Wedge: She is a smaller four and a half year old cat that that was picked up from the spca. She weighs approximately 10 lbs and is quite shy. She is very loving once she warms up to you but she will tend to hide, she had a harder time as a stray and lost part of her tail and ears due to frost bite. Wedge is a mostly gray cat, that has white spots on her face and on her left paw. She enjoys cuddling in your lap, but only does so in brief periods and provided that you have been sitting around for a little while, she is afraid of sudden movements. She is also de-clawed and is spayed, and is current on her shots as well. In the photo she is facing the camera. Please email or call: Scott 230-6597, or scottrenoufNOSPAM@gmail.com
